The code is MIT
Every component, script, and piece of build tooling on this site is MIT licensed. So is the demo repo. Copy it, change it, ship it in something you sell. You don't need to ask, and you don't owe anything beyond keeping the copyright notice.

The writing is CC BY-NC-ND 4.0
The tutorials themselves — the prose, the diagrams, the images, the video — are Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0. Read them, link them, quote them with credit. Don't sell them, don't repackage them as your own course, don't post an edited version somewhere else.
Why the split
The code exists to be reused. That's the whole point of publishing it, and MIT is the least friction between you and a working animation in your app.
The writing is the work. It takes far longer to explain an effect than to build one, and a single licence can't say "take the code" and "leave the explanation alone" at the same time. So there are two.
In practice
- Yes — copy a component into a commercial app.
- Yes — link a tutorial, quote a paragraph with credit, teach from it.
- No — republish a tutorial, translated, edited, or verbatim, anywhere else.
- No — sell the tutorials, or bundle them into a paid course.
